Setting up Archiving address on Google Apps

With Mail2Cloud Archiving Address you can archive the email flow of your entire company or selected users. The following is how to configure Mail2Cloud Archiving with Google Apps:

  1. Sign in to the Google Apps admin dashboard
  2. Click on Apps
  3. Click on Google Apps
  4. Click on Gmail
  5. Click on Advanced Settings
  6. Scroll down to Content compliance, and click Configure

In the Add setting page, select each of the following options to enforce content-based policies for inbound, outbound, and internal emails by matching one or more expressions to different areas of the email, e.g., body, header, and subject. You can use the expressions to apply the archiving rule to a specific user. You have to add at least one expression. If you want the archiving rule to be valid for all emails flowing on your domain, use "*" as the expression.

In this example we will be applying the rule for a specific user:

NOTE: this is an example only. You will not be configuring archiving for the user "admin@mxhero.com".

The Recipient archiving address is specific to your domain. Please consult your Mail2Cloud Archiving rule.
