Case: Email thinning from MS Exchange accounts, storing data into Box

  1. Go to Mail2Cloud Dashboard
  2. Click on 'Add New' button at Email sync panel.

  3. Choose Exchange as your server.

  4. Type your credentials.

  5. Enter the email account that you want to sync.
  6. Select the date range of emails that will be synced to your cloud storage account (in this case 'The beginning').

  7. Click on 'Select your Cloud storage' button.

  8. Select your BOX account and enter the credentials.bj_selectBox.png

  9. Select 'in Folder'.

  10. Click on '../{Subject}' button to customize the file path where your emails will be saved.

  11. Click on 'Advanced options' and then on 'Other filters'.

  12. Toggle 'By folder selection' and select the folders you want to sync. For maximum thinning do not limit to emails in a specific folder.

  13. Go to 'Import options'.
    Toggle:
    • 'Do not overwrite files'

    • Toggle 'Save attachments' and rReplace attachments with cloud storage links'

    • Toggle 'Save message as .pdf'.


    • Toggle 'Use a sub-folder for the PDF version of the email' and enter a name for the sub-folder.


    • Toggle 'Save message as an .eml source file'


    • Toggle 'Use a sub-folder for the copy of the original email (.eml file)' and enter a name for the sub-folder


  14. Go to 'Security options'
    • Select 'Anyone (public links)'

  15. Go to 'Notification options'
    • Toggle 'Notify me on error'

    • Enter an email address for the notification.
  16. Click on 'Apply settings' and the on 'Create task' button.
