Synchronize with Exchange™ Active Directory

In this article we will explain how to synchronize your Exchange™ AD with mxHero.

1. Go to Mail2Cloud Dashboard. 
2. Click on "Accounts" button at top menu.
3. Click on "Setup directory sync" button.
   
   
4. Click on the drop down menu and select Exchange™ AD.
   
   
   
5. Type your directory server host address.
   
   
   
6. Select if you want to use SSL to connect to your server or not.
   
   
   
7. Enter your admin Exchange™ AD password.
8. Select if you want to use attribute mail as account instead of uid or samAccountName.
   
   
   
9. Enter the server port number.
10. Type your Admin username to access Exchange™ AD.
11. Enter the search base directory.
12. Select if you want to overwrite your existing accounts or not.
    
    
    
13. Click on 'Save Directory' button.

After following the aforementioned steps you will see a button at the 'Accounts' section to synchronize your Exchange™ Active Directory and a list of your accounts after synchronization.

Note: First synchronization will take a while to finish.
